This is a pre-owned Custom Shop Mike Bloomfield ’59 Les Paul, part of a small run to recreate the instrument that session blues-man Mike Bloomfield played throughout his career, and on classic recordings such as Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited.
The guitar features classic ’59 Les Paul specs; flame maple top on a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck with a ’59 profile, rosewood fretboard, trapezoid inlays, Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups, Bumblebee caps and CTS potentiometers, Grover kidney tuners, and an ABR-1 bridge with stopbar tailpiece. True to the original guitar, the Mike Bloomfield Les Paul has mismatched styles of volume and tone knobs, and a recreation of the original color, appropriately named Bloomfield Burst.
This Les Paul is in excellent condition, it looks like there is little to no play time on it,.
