1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard „Giotto“ Burst
Beautiful burst.
The guitar was bought by a musician in Florence in a piano shop, one of 3 bursts ever sold in Italy.
A very early 1960s burst that still has some pots from the last weeks of 1959.
The burst was once modified with a Hagstrom Vibrato and has accordingly left a large hole in the top.
This hole had been filled by the second owner with his initials, which are still visible today.
Unfortunately, the guitar also suffered a broken headstock, which was repaired.
