1952 – 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard Conversion

What a amazing example of a affordable vintage Les Paul.

The guitar was born as a 1952 Les Paul with an already refinished top. So she was the perfect candidate for a proper conversion.

Said, done.

Mathias Schindehütte was the master luthier that converted this beauty to 1958 specs, due to the fact that it had a very nice top.

The top was a 3 piece top, with a very board center piece, that has nearly unvisible seams.

So it was clear that this guitar has no need for a gold lacquer and we decided to spray an ultrahin nitrolacquer burst…

The parts are completely done by Montreux Vintage Replica parts , and they sound amazing.

The pickups are handwound custom boutique PAF replicas from Mark Stow and OX4,

one of the most sought after PAF replicas at the moment.

Amazing burst, amazing sounding guitar.

Rare opportunity.

Tuner, Bridge, STP, Studs, Bushings and Humbucker Rings are from Montreux.

Wiring, electronics and Knobs are original from the 1952 Les Paul.
